Church History

The Ministerial Birth

The vision started through Sister Ledy Lomarda and Perla Mauring to have a family base prayer meeting and a bible study group. Amidst the call of Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:18-20, the bible study and fellowship was born.

The Families were joined together to spread the light and be a salt to the neighboring community in Pacita 2 San Pedro Laguna and beyond reach. In due time, the vision is to reach out families and individual for Christ all through-out the world.

As the Holy Spirit lead us into a group of believers and empower us with great vision in reaching the lost and winning them for Jesus Christ.

We praise God for the vision, we praise God for His Leading.

To God be the glory. Amen!

STATEMENTS  OF FAITH

I.    The Sacred Scriptures Inspired

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and the New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the final authority and rule for faith and life, without error in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:20-21; 1 Pet 1:23-25; Heb 4:12).

II.    The One True God

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, coeternal in being, co-identical in nature, coequal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.  He has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM”, the creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind.  He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut 6:4; Isa 43:10-11; Mt 28:19; Mk 12:29; 2Cor 13:14).

III.    The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that the Eternal Son of God became a man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He, the Lord Jesus Christ, might reveal God and redeem sinful men (Jn 1:1-2, 14; Lk 1:35). We believe that He accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the death (Rom 3:24-25; 1 Pet 1:3-5). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where, as our High Priest, he fulfills the ministry as Representative, Intercessor and Advocate (Acts 1:9-10; Heb 7:25, 9:24; Rom 8:34; 1 Jn 2:1-2).

IV.    The Fall of Man

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but by Adam’s voluntary transgression, the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; and that man is totally depraved and thus, of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition (Gen 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:6; Eph 2:1-3; Rom 3:22-23, 5:12-19).

V.    Salvation of Man

We believe that man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

a.    Conditions to Salvation

Salvation is a gift, made available through the grace of God totally apart from meritorious works on the part of sinful men, must be personally appropriated through repentance towards God and faith towards the Lord Jesus Christ.  By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (Lk 24:47; Jn 3:3; Rom 10:13-15; Eph 2:8; Tit 2:11, 3:5-7).  We believe it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation as taught by God’s Word.  We believe the Bible clearly forbids the use of Christian’s liberty as an occasion for the flesh (Rom 8:16, 13:13; Gal 5:13; Tit 2:11-15; 1 Jn 5:3).

b.    The Evidence of Salvation

The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Eph 4:24; Tit 2:12).

VI.    The Church as the Body of Christ

We believe that the Church, which is the body and the espoused Bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of born-again persons (Eph 1:22-23, 5:25-27; 1 Cor 12:12-14; 2 Cor 11:2).  We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament scriptures (Acts 14:27, 20:17, 28-32; 1 Tim 3:1-13; Tit 1:5-11). The Church supreme task is evangelization of the lost and to bring them to a living relationship with Christ and edification of the Body of Christ through the preaching and teaching of the whole Gospel of Salvation (Mt 25:18-20; Mk 16:15-18).

    The Ordinance of the Church

a.    Baptism in Water.  The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the Scriptures.  All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized.  Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Mt 28:19; Mk 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Rom 6:4).

b.    Holy Communion.  The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements – bread and the fruit of the vine – is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet 1:4); a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Cor 11:26); and a prophecy of His Second Coming (1 Cor 11:26); and enjoined on all believers “until He comes”.

VII.    Divine Healing

We believe that Divine Healing is an integral part of the blessed Gospel.  Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Isa 53:4-5; Mt 8:16-127; Jam 5:14, 16).

IX.    The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

We believe in the sure return of the Lord Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom on earth, that His second coming will be literal, bodily, personal return.  His coming will precede the age of universal peace and righteousness foretold in the Scriptures; and that His coming for His Bride, the Church, constitutes the “blessed hope” set before us, for which we should be constantly looking forward to (Mt 24:27, 30, 44; Jon 14:1-3; 1 Thess 1:10, 4:13-17; Heb 9:28; Acts 1:11; Col 2:9; Mt 26:64; Rev 1:7; 2 Thess 2:7-8; Rev 20:1-6).
